reviews-day tuesday.

Reviews for the Week:

Grease 2 (2/5)
Starring: Maxwell Caulfield & Michelle Pfeiffer.
Honestly, I had never seen this before and really wanted to like it. Just because of all the bad rap it gets. Unfortunately, the rap was well deserved. If you watched this entire movie on mute, then you might give it a 4/5, because for an 80's movie and a sequel its actually decent. The worst part, the music. Its terrible.

Oklahoma (5/5)
Starring: Gordon MacRae, Shirley Jones, & Charlotte Greenwood.
Again, a movie that I am biased about. Childhood classic for me.
Only downside, it is incredibly long: over 2 1/2 hours.
I suggest putting this movie on in the background while doing chores around the house.
Mainly having it on for the soundtrack.
Though getting to watch "Aunt Eller" is pretty much my favourite.
"I'd like to teach you all a little sayin'
And learn the words by heart the way you should
I don't say I'm no better than anybody else,
But I'll be danged if I ain't jist as good!"

Red (4.5/5)
Starring: Bruce Willis, Mary-Louise Parker, John Malkovich,
Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, and Karl Urban.
If you are in need of a comedy and action. Rent this! So funny! Also, I have never been any sort of fan towards Helen Mirren, but I may have converted into one! She is awesome! My only blah about this, was the relationship between Bruce and Mary-Louise. It just felt awkward.

Antitrust (4/5)
Starring: Ryan Phillippe, Rachael Leigh Cook, Claire Forlani, and Tim Robbins.
Excellent conspiracy thriller. Ryan's acting is a little keanu-esque, but still enjoyable.

Love & Other Drugs (5/5)
Starring: Jake Gyllenhaal & Anne Hathaway.
Its a nice change for your average love/comedy/drama story.
Excellent Soundtrack! Thank you 90's.
"Sometimes the things you want the most don't happen and what you least expect happens. I don't know - you meet thousands of people and none of them really touch you. And then you meet that one person and your life is changed."

The A-Team (4/5)
Starring: Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton Jackson, Sharito Copley.
Pretty decent for a remake! Good job guys!
FYI -- wait for the credits to run through.

We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (4/5)
Starring: John Goodman, Joey Shea, and Yeardly Smith.
Haven't seen this since it came to theaters. Cute movie! Love when John Goodman sings!

The Informant! (3.5/5)
Starring: Matt Damon.
This movie is well written and quite funny! It just makes you feel so awkward.
