the weather outside is frightful.

I woke up today, thinking of all the fantastic things I was going to do. Then I looked out the window and saw a blizzard. Instead of going into town, I have decided to stay in. "They" (you know, those meteorologists) are calling for more snow until about 8 o'clock tonight. Which means it could stop in an hour or last for three days. I currently debating on whether or not to shovel now or wait until later this evening or maybe shovel now AND later. I have a feeling my Saturday night is going to consist of shoveling, shoveling, and you guessed it, more shoveling. Knowing me though, it will be quite entertaining and enjoyable. Probably have some tunes playing, possibly build a fort (I'll have to do something with the excess snow), and maybe even throw a beverage or two into the mix.

In the meantime, I figured its a prime opportunity to get things done inside the house today. You know, cleaning the bathroom, dishes, laundry, all those joys.

One thing I did accomplish this morning was finishing my book; I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore.

When it comes to books, I have been known to finish one up in an evening or take my sweet ass time and finish it three years later; there are so many variables that can make that happen. This one took me about a week and I prolonged it as much as I could. I wont say too much, but I will say that if you enjoy the story of Superman, than I think you would thoroughly enjoy this book. I did find it "high school-y", but I suppose that's allowed since the book is directed towards teenagers and the majority of the characters are in their teen years. Either way, I liked the book.

Anyhoo, I should stop procrastinating and get back to my lovely chores. Can you believe I am 3/3 on updating the blog. I only committed to writing once a week. Watch me go!

Be Well!
